Summary of the news El galardón premia 15 experiencias educativas para el desarrollo llevadas a cabo durante el curso 2014/2015 en Castilla y león, Andalucía, Galicia, Castilla La Mancha, Islas Baleares, Navarra y Madrid Las actividades premiadas han contribuido a sensibilizar, desarrollar el espíritu crítico, y fomentar la participación activa del alumnado en la consecución de una ciudadanía global, solidaria, comprometida con la erradicación de la pobreza y sus causas y el desarrollo humano y sostenible
El premio Nacional de Educación para el Desarrollo Vicente Ferrer ha premiado en su VII edición a quince nuevos centros educativos por su trabajo en materia de sensibilización y educación participativa para la consecución de una ciudadanía global, solidaria y comprometida con la erradicación de la pobreza.
Precisamente, impulsar este tipo de proyectos educativos sensibilizadores es el objetivo del premio, que convoca la Cooperación Española, a través de la Agencia Española de Cooperación Internacional (AECID), junto al Ministerio de Educación, Cultura y Deporte, y que está dirigido a centros docentes sostenidos con fondos públicos (públicos y concertados) en los niveles de educación infantil, primaria, secundaria obligatoria, de personas adultas, bachillerato y formación profesional.
ENTREGA DE PREMIOS, EN SEPTIEMBRE
La entrega del diploma acreditativo del premio se realizará durante un acto oficial en la sede de la Agencia Española de Cooperación que tendrá lugar a principios de septiembre.
Haber sido galardonado por el premio Nacional de Educación para el Desarrollo Vicente Ferrer conlleva que un máximo de dos docentes responsables de cada experiencia educativa premiada viajen a Marruecos para participar en el “Seminario de Intercambio y Formación en Buenas Prácticas en Educación para el Desarrollo” organizado por la Agencia Española de Cooperación (AECID) y previsto para octubre de este año. El encuentro tendrá una duración de 40 horas reconocidas como créditos de formación por el Ministerio de Educación, Cultura y Deporte.
