Summary of the news Del 19 al 23 de septiembre, la Casa de América ha congregado a algunos de los escritores contemporáneos más representativos de Iberoamérica | Las jornadas hicieron lleno en los salones del Palacio de Linares y también pudieron seguirse, en streaming o diferido, en el canal de YouTube de la institución
La Casa de América y la Agencia Española de Cooperación para el Desarrollo (AECID) han colaborado un año más en la organización del festival Centroamérica Cuenta, que ha recibido en Madrid a más de 20 autores de Iberoamérica. Eduardo Halfon, Gioconda Belli, Emiliano Monge, Rodrigo Rey Rosa o Brenda Navarro son solo algunos de los escritores que participaron en las diversas jornadas, en las que tuvieron cabida desde las anécdotas más distendidas hasta el análisis sobre la situación en la región.

Lunes 19 de septiembre
Inauguración del festival con Enrique Ojeda Vila, director general de la Casa de América; Elena González, Jefa del departamento de Cooperación y Promoción Cultural de la Dirección de Relaciones Culturales y Científicas de la AECID; Claudia Neira, directora del festival Centroamérica Cuenta y, en vídeo, Sergio Ramírez, presidente del festival.
Acto seguido se desarrolló el diálogo Escrituras en búsqueda, sobre la incesante búsqueda del origen a través de la escritura. Con Rodrigo Rey Rosa (Guatemala), Marta Sanz (España) y Javier Rodríguez Marcos (España).
