AECID publications, having inherited the catalogue and collections of Hispanic Culture Publications and Arab World and Islam Publications, cover a great variety of fields, including literature, essays, history and social sciences. Some of the most prestigious collections such as Ciencia y Humanismo and the Visor de Poesía Iberoamericana collection remain active and new titles are regularly added. As for facsimiles, volumes have been published in the monumental Flora de Mutis for over half a century, and the work is far from completed. The Cuadernos Hispanoamericanos journal, which has been published every month since 1948 and is a point of reference for literature in Spanish, deserves a special mention.
The Cultura y Desarrollo Collection, which so far consists of thirteen titles which address highly topical issues, such as cultural networks and industries, the information society, evaluation of cultural actions, etc., is a more recent incorporation.
